BRC Star Amber: A Fusion of Western Modern Architecture and Traditional Marine Culture

Designers Rui Ning and Timson Zi Create a Unique Space Atmosphere in Fuzhou's Sales Center

Located in one of the oldest cities in China to accept Western culture, Fuzhou, the BRC Star Amber sales center is a unique blend of ARTDECO style and traditional marine culture. The designers, Rui Ning and Timson Zi, have created a space that is pure, free, and presents distinctive personality, lines, and colors, without the heavy sense of history, and not bound by the environment of any era.

The design of BRC Star Amber, which spans 500 square meters, is a two-story building interspersed with smooth curves. The space is centered on the sandbox area, above which are finely woven lighting decorations and vertically arranged ceiling light strips. The walls are decorated with a penetrating metal shape and Klein blue balls, adding a touch of fun to the space.

One of the unique features of the design is the use of arch design elements, which are very representative and ingeniously interspersed throughout the space. The classic ARTDECO style combination of gold and beige collides with the impactful colors of Klein blue and Bordeaux red, bringing a dynamic atmosphere to the space.

The designers have also incorporated a VR experience room on the second floor, equipped with VR virtual technology to provide users with virtual senses about vision, hearing, touch and other senses. This allows users to feel every detail of the space more directly as if they are physically present, providing an intuitive experience of the living space in the future.

The design of BRC Star Amber faced several challenges, including the application and evolution of the "circle" elements in various spaces and areas. However, the designers were able to overcome these challenges and create a highly recognizable space that is not bound by the environment of any era.

The BRC Star Amber sales center was awarded the Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2020. This prestigious award is granted to marvelous, outstanding, and trendsetting creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom.
